Product Description
Sulfo-Cyanine5 DBCO is a near-infrared (NIR) fluorescent dye designed for fluorescent labeling and bioorthogonal click chemistry. It contains a dibenzocyclooctyne (DBCO) group that reacts with azide-containing molecules through strain-promoted alkyne-azide cycloaddition (SPAAC).
This copper-free click chemistry reaction enables the conjugation of fluorescent labels to azide-functionalized biomolecules without requiring a copper catalyst. Its Sulfo-Cyanine5 fluorescent component provides an optical signal suitable for fluorescence-based detection and imaging workflows.
Key Features
- Near-infrared fluorescent Cyanine5 dye.
- DBCO functional group for azide-selective click reactions.
- Compatible with strain-promoted alkyne-azide cycloaddition (SPAAC).
- Supports copper-free biomolecule labeling strategies.
- Suitable for fluorescent conjugation and research applications.
